A good layout works like a spell: invisible at first, but powerful enough to guide every step of the reader’s journey.
In Myth & Mana, the page structure is built around the feeling of a fantasy map. The largest card becomes the main quest, while smaller cards become side paths, discoveries, notes, and hidden pieces of lore.
The Grid as a Map
CSS Grid helps organize the page into clear regions. Instead of stacking every section in a simple column, the grid creates a magazine-style layout with a strong feature area and smaller supporting sections.
This makes the homepage feel intentional. The reader can immediately tell which story is most important, while still noticing the smaller sections around it.
Spacing as Breathing Room
Spacing is one of the quietest but most important parts of design. Padding keeps the text from touching the card edges, while gaps between cards help each section feel like its own discovery.
“A layout should guide the eye gently, like a lantern marking the next step on the trail.”
Hierarchy as Magic
Visual hierarchy tells the reader where to look first. Large headings, category labels, card sizes, and call-to-action buttons all work together to create a clear reading path.
The fantasy theme gives the project personality, but the layout choices keep it professional. That balance is what makes the page feel both creative and polished.
