Project 01 / Client Work

Golden Years Tech Help

Golden Years Tech Help website homepage

Project Goal

Build an accessible customer experience and internal operations system for a senior-focused technology support business, connecting public service requests with scheduling, technician assignment, customer history, communication, billing, and payments.

What I Built

I designed and built the public website and role-aware CRM, including the PostgreSQL data model, authentication and Row Level Security, Realtime updates, Edge Functions, audit history, and integrations with Google Calendar, Resend, and Stripe.

Tools + Systems

  • JavaScript
  • PostgreSQL + Supabase
  • TypeScript + Deno
  • Authentication + RLS
  • Google Calendar API
  • Stripe + Resend
  • Netlify + GitHub Actions
  • Accessibility

Engineering Focus

The project required system and workflow design, role-based access, transactional data integrity, reliable external integrations, background retries, payment reconciliation, deployment hardening, automated verification, and accessibility for an older customer base.

Collaborative Work

Team Lead + Contributor

Main Project / Team Lead + Developer

History Heroes

A collaborative history-learning platform. My merged contributions covered the learner page shell, module browsing, responsive module cards, ordered lesson pages, locked lesson states, Seven Wonders curriculum and labs, completion behavior, documentation, and automated tests.

  • React + TypeScript
  • Responsive UI
  • Curriculum
  • Testing
  • Team Leadership

Sprint Project / TypeScript

Bookmarked

Built and integrated an accessible adaptive reaction picker with user-specific history, local persistence, feed/detail synchronization, and automated coverage.

Sprint Project / JavaScript + Go

Rosetta

Implemented multi-adapter pipeline chaining with syntax validation, stage-specific failure handling, CLI documentation, and automated tests.

Project 03 / Community Application

Syntax Studio Resource Library

Syntax Studio Resource Library homepage

Project Goal

Create a beginner-friendly coding hub that helps self-taught developers find useful tools, guides, communities, and project ideas in one organized place.

What I Built

A searchable, filterable developer resource library built around structured JavaScript data, multi-criteria filtering, project discovery, moderated community submissions, responsive layouts, and accessible interactions.

Tools Used

  • JavaScript
  • Structured Data
  • Search + Filtering
  • Formspree
  • Responsive Design
  • Accessibility

Engineering Focus

The project required turning a growing collection of resources into a usable information system: defining searchable data, combining filter criteria, handling empty and incremental result states, and keeping community submissions moderated rather than feeding untrusted input directly into the public dataset.

Project 04 / Open Source

Obsidian Themes

Open Source Work

I design, build, document, and maintain themes distributed through Obsidian’s official Community Themes ecosystem. The work combines interface design with application theming, responsive behavior, customization systems, documentation, and release maintenance.

cosmic

My more technically extensive theme, with seven coordinated color schemes, light and dark modes, Style Settings integration, responsive layouts, custom note classes, print styling, reduced-motion support, and forced-colors handling.

Engineering Focus

  • CSS Custom Properties
  • Obsidian Design Tokens
  • Style Settings
  • Responsive CSS
  • Accessibility
  • Release Maintenance

Alice Velvet

A dark-and-light visual system with configurable typography, responsive mobile and tablet behavior, syntax highlighting, styled application surfaces, reusable note layouts, and optional Style Settings controls.

Earlier Work / Editorial Concept

Myth & Mana

Myth and Mana fantasy editorial website homepage

Project Goal

Create a fantasy-inspired editorial experience using mood, layout, decorative hierarchy, and visual storytelling instead of a conventional stacked page.

What I Built

A feature-led page with an atmospheric hero, editorial grid, and content cards for magical places, creatures, spells, and other fantasy concepts.

Tools Used

  • CSS Grid
  • Responsive Layout
  • Editorial Hierarchy
  • Visual Storytelling

What I Learned

I learned how differently sized content cards can work together to guide the eye, create rhythm, and give certain sections more visual weight.
